Frequently asked questions
How much does a request cost?
Nothing. The request and the offer are free and non-binding.
Does it have to be the exact car from my link?
No. The link tells us what you are looking for. We find a comparable imported car – same model and version, similar age, mileage and equipment.
Where do the cars come from?
They are imported from abroad. The origin and full history of the specific car are shown in the offer and the agreement.
Why can the car be cheaper?
Some models are considerably cheaper on certain foreign markets than in Europe, so even with transport, customs and VAT the price is often lower. We only send an offer if it costs the same or less than a comparable car in your listing.
How long does the import take?
Usually 8–12 weeks from reservation to handover. Most of it is sea transport; you track the progress online.
Are these crashed cars or cars with tampered mileage?
We only offer cars with a documented history and no serious accidents. An independent technician inspects the car before purchase and you get photos and a report. If it fails, we refund the full deposit.
What about the warranty?
We are liable for defects for 12 months from handover. The factory warranty may not apply, so we offer an optional extended warranty.
Where will I service the car?
We offer brands with authorised service networks in Europe, so regular servicing works as with any other car.
Can I see the car before buying?
The car is abroad, so an independent technician inspects it for you. You receive detailed photos and a report before you pay the car price.
What if you don't find a suitable car?
We let you know and keep looking. As soon as a matching car appears, we send you an offer.
Is leasing possible?
Yes, after the car has arrived and been registered. See Financing.
What if I change my mind?
You pay nothing until the reservation. After paying the deposit, the reservation agreement applies – see Terms.
